Two Albums But No Music

Hello and Welcome!

I had some fun this weekend getting back into mini albums.

I thought I might have lost my touch, so I picked a paper collection that I have had for a while and really couldn't find much to do with it.
No matter how much I liked the Paris Collection paper,
it just didn't go with anything I created.

I have to admit, I LOVE how it came out.
I have no idea what I am going to do with the album,
but I am so glad I made it.

I made it with a ribbon closure.
I also made some new pages that I had never tried before.
Lots of flaps and hidden pages, I really wanted to try things I never did previously and am really pleased with how it turned out.

More flaps and hidden pages inside.

I really love the paper collection in this book.

So since this album came out wonderfully...
I decided to make another album that I have been wanting to make.

This one is for Bella and Marley.
I noticed that I had albums for all the other fur-babies,
but hadn't made one for either of these two...
so I made this one for the both of them together.

Unfortunately though, I totally forgot about a closure...
so this is just an open album, for now.

I took some chipboard alphas I had and added stickles to them.
Love how those came out.

I also used a bunch of Pet Collection paper and stickers I had in my stash.
I always pick up stuff for the fur-babies,
knowing I will need them for various
creations I will make with them in mind!

I wanted to add a dangle, but as with the closure,
I totally forgot to compensate for that,
so I went with some lace and rosette fabrics I had for the binding.

Here is the inside.
I have not added pictures yet...but I will.

More flaps to these pages as well.

I had a bunch of fun making this album as well.

So even though I totally flaked out on the closure and a dangle on this album,
I love the way it came out and am happy with it.

I have to keep in my head the next time I make and album these things.
Hopefully because I forgot when making this one, I will remember next time!
I am also glad that I haven't lost my touch with making albums!!!
It was a lot of fun to use more items that I have been hoarding in my studio.

I hope you enjoyed these creations...
and as always with all of the pictures on my blog...
you can always click on the pictures for bigger, detailed pictures.

Also...I would love to know if there is anything you would like to see on my blog.  Let me know if there is a specific item you would like to see used, or a theme...or any suggestions you may have about what you have seen.

I'd LOVE to hear from you!!!
