It is so easy to make and the results are beautiful.

Will you be my Valentine

Welcome!!!

This week I am bringing you some items I made
for Valentine's Day.

This first item is a lantern.
The top comes off so you can add an
LED tea light to glow inside.

I added metal feet to the bottom.
Vellum, pearls, flowers and a dragonfly
are just some of the embellishments.

It was a lot of fun to make.
I brought it to work and it is sitting on my back desk.

Here is the top with all of the embellishments.
All of them were in my stash...
which I love to be able to use.

Next, I took a Dollar Tree vase and made a cut file for my Silhouette machine to add to it.

I also used two colors of vinyl on this as well.

Next week I will have a few more Valentine creations I made.
I hope you enjoyed what I shared so far.
Let me know in the comments.

Thanks and take care!

Peace and Joy Album

Welcome!!!
This week I am sharing a Christmas mini album I made.
I made it with papers I purchased from Michaels.
I have not finished the embellishing the outside...
But I am liking the simpleness of it so may just leave it.

I enjoy making mini albums.
It's fun to figure out various pages to create for them.

There is a waterfall in the front cover of this album.
You can put many pictures in there.

Each page has a pocket for tags as well.

I hope you enjoy me sharing the mini album I created.
I love making them and if you would like me
to create one for you, just e-mail me.

Take care.

A Cut Above

Welcome!!!

This week I am sharing some ideas that I had this holiday season.
As I have said in past blogs...for the holiday I received a Silhouette Cameo machine and I have been in love.
So I wanted to find some new ways to use it.
I know there are many more ways to use the machine,
but I am just starting to learn.
I wanted to start with something easy that ended up looking rather good if I do say so myself! LOL!!!

I wanted to make sure that what I started with
didn't cost me a lot so if I messed up it wasn't so bad.

So I found these cutting boards at the Dollar Tree.
They have square and circle ones and I thought they would be perfect to start off with.

I found a file in the Silhouette store and came up with this one:

I liked it a lot and learned how to apply the vinyl and such.
But...I also found out that if I wanted to sell these later on,
I would have to come up with my own design.

I came up with this one...
I decided to add this to the collection of items that I created
for various co-workers for Christmas.

Then I thought, there should be a design that is for the kitchen.
I came up with the following design.

I figure I can add names or anything in the middle.
I am still just starting...but this is so much fun!!!

I also made this one for my craft room...

I thought that was cute and so true! LOL!!!

I hope you enjoyed me sharing these little ideas I've had so far.
Would love to hear what you think in the comments below.
