Pizza Pizza

Hello again and Welcome!

I was throwing out a pizza box at the house,
and thought...
my hubby LOVES pizza so much,
maybe I can make something for him with this 'theme'.

Below is what I came up with.
A Pizza Box Recipe Album.

I cannot cook ANYTHING AT ALL!
My hubby is the BESTEST Chef and I am so lucky to have him
cook for me everyday and share all of him wonderful creations.
Although I cannot cook in the kitchen...
I made this whole album and box from scratch...
cardboard and paper are my friends.  LOL!!!

So here are the finished items.
The Pizza box and album.
I still have plenty of decorating,
and I also want to laminate the pages after adding his recipes.

 Here they are separated.
I believe I will cover the album and possibly the box with contact paper
so that any mess, since it will be used in the kitchen, can be wiped off.

Here are the pages for the recipes.
I used recipe cards that I purchased at Hobby Lobby
since they were already done and on kraft paper.
I matted them on black card stock before adding them on to the page.

Here is the back of each page for more room of the recipe.

 The inside of the book.

I was able to add a lot of pages.

I decorated the outside a bit.
When up on a shelf, you can see what this is all about...Recipes.

I added 'Jeff's Italian Kitchen' to the front
along with an italian picture that I colored in for him.
He loves it and I hope to soon add his recipes and get it all done for him soon.

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Take care!

It's a Crime Scene

Hello All!
Well, it's been awhile since I put up some nail art,
and since the Halloween Holiday is upon us...
Here's some Halloween Nail Art for me to share with you.

Since seeing this elsewhere, I so wanted to do it.
I LOVE Crime and Investigation shows,
so it only seemed fitting to do some nail art for Halloween!

I started with Orly Liquid Vinyl black nail polish.
This black is my favorite and go to black nail polish.
I applied two coats.

Next I took white acrylic paint and dipped my finger into it...
then pressed it on my finger.
Here's the result - My fingerprint nail!

 Next...red acrylic paint.
I took a paint brush and loaded it with watered down paint.
Then I flicked the brush on top of my nail until I came up with results below.
The Splattered Blood Nail!

Then I took yellow acrylic paint and made two lines as straight as I could.

I then took a fine line marker and wrote in the word Caution.
Caution Tape Nail!

Lastly, I have a nail art pen in white and slowly drew in an outline of a body.
Chalk Outline Nail!

Here are all my nails with top coat.
The Caution tape nail got a bit blurred when adding top coat
due to it not being totally dry...but I think it adds to the character.

I absolutely LOVE the way these came out,
even though I wish I had a steadier hand!
I did the same on my other hand,
except I did not write out caution or do the body outline...
Blood splattering all around, way easier! LOL!!!

Let me know what you think of my Crime Scene Nails below!
Take care and thanks for visiting.

Charming bead haul

Hello and Welcome!

So I am still obsessed with doing the charms that I have been doing and I found a place online that has some beautiful merchandise.
I found this place due to a person on YouTube that has helped me on this charm journey.  LOL!!!
She is awesome and you really need to check her channel out.
She not only does charms, but so many other things and all so beautiful!
NurseTara04 is her channel over on YouTube...please go and check her out.

So the shop that I purchased this first bunch of goodies from is
The Bead Factory.
They are an actual store in California, but since I am in Florida I have to check them out online instead of visiting in person!
They have such a beautiful selection and I couldn't make up my mind,
but I do have a few orders to make so
I needed some colors I don't already have.
The glass pearls (6mm and 8mm) are only .60 cents per strand!
The wire basket hearts are 1.50 for 3, but I happened to have gotten 4 per bag, and they are beautiful, as well as the angel wings...absolutely stunning.
I know I will be purchasing from them again.
Their shipping is 3 day...so I ordered on Sunday night and had them in my possession Thursday night, just in time for crafting on the weekend!

As always, you can click on the pictures to make them larger!

This little haul below was from Michaels.
The green label beads were 60% off, and I had a coupon for 25% off sale items!
See...I am a coupon clipper like my hubby!  LOL!!!

Last, but not least...Wal-Mart.
They had these items on clearance for some reason,
so how could I resist?

Now on to show what I made this weekend.
I am going to put these up on my Etsy site as well.

This one is clear and aqua colored...
reminded me of the beach so I added a seahorse, fish and dolphin charm.

Another black, silver and crystal one with an angel and heart charm.

Crystal and silver...
with little silver bells as well and snowflake and angel charms.

This one is red, white and blue.
I added a red heart charm.

Thank you so much for stopping by and visiting.
Please leave a comment below and let me know if you have any suggestions or any questions...I would be glad to answer!

Take care!
