Happy Rainbows

Welcome!

This week I have some cards to share.
It's a stamp set from My Favorite Things
called Unicorns and Glitter.

I blended the rainbow backgrounds on both cards
with Distress Oxide Inks.
I also sprayed some water on it as well for some water marks.

I also colored in the stamps with
alcohol markers in rainbow colors.

I added sequins to the background and embossed the sentiment on black card stock with white embossing powder.

These cards were fun to do.
I hope you enjoyed your stay here.
Take care!!!

Magic Wands

Welcome!

For this weeks blog post, I did some wands.
I love doing them,
but I haven't figured out how to give them to people yet!

The ones I did here were based on a tutorial I saw,
yes...again on YouTube!
I LIVE on watching YouTube.
Anyway, here's the link to the video I adapted my wands from:
Sandra at Creative Paper Craft - Unicorn Wand

I have so much beautiful tulle that I am going to set my mind to do more of them.

This first one I did in purples, pinks and whites.
I added some pink and purple trims to the pink striped paper straw it all sits upon.

I added a center with Happy Birthday in pink glitter paper.
I also added a cute resin unicorn.

This next one I did with 'over the hill' in mind...since I am! LOL!!!
Black and white tulle with a Happy Birthday in silver glitter paper.
This sits on top of a silver striped paper straw with some pearls and white/black trim.

It also has a white butterfly and crystal flower in the center.

Yes, definitely have to make more of these.
May have to have them in pen/pencil cup at work.

Take care everyone!

Pom Poms and Lollipops

Welcome!

I hope you have a sweet tooth for this week's blog post!
It is mostly a sweets theme.

First I am sharing a gumball machine I made with pom poms.

Keeping up with the Pom Pom theme...
I thought I would make some.
And of course, if you make pom poms,
you have to make them into cupcakes!
Actually I got the idea to make them into
cupcakes from Natalie - PutSomeBlingOnIt.
She made them into wands, but I thought I would just make them and use them later on in RAKs and stuff.
I think they came out cute.

Next on the pom pom train, I made some pom-pom cotton candy.
This idea came from Tanisha - SheCraftsToo.
As you can see, I had fun making a bunch of pom poms.

And now for the lollipops...
These are made out of foam.
I got the idea from MarthasCreations
I used Stickles on them to make them shine.

I hope you didn't get any cavities from this blog post!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Take care!

A Tisket, A Tassel

Welcome!

I know...it's been awhile.
It's funny, I get mad at myself for not blogging.
I may as well realize that I am going to
take sabbaticals from my blog.
I wish I didn't,
but it happens and I have to be okay with that.
I just have to remember that this blog is for me to share
the creations that I make and sharing a bit of me.

Ok...so now on to the sharing of my creations.

Everyone's been on the tassel kick and I wanted to join.
I had a lot of fun doing these and they are actually pretty easy.

I know the pictures are small,
but you can click on them to make them bigger.

I made them all with metallic embroidery floss,
beads and various charms and resin pieces.

Here's another bunch.

These were actually a lot of fun and easy to make.
I hope you enjoyed looking at what I have been up to.
Take care and stay safe.
