So it's a brand new year and I hope a better year for all of us. It was a very trying and hard year for me and my family, but there is nothing you can do about it but move on. That's what I am trying to do.
Anyway...I have put some new items up on my Etsy shop...and am SO HAPPY that I have sold a couple of items! If you want to visit, here's the link...KraftysKorner (that's right, KraftyKards was taken!).
Also, I have joined a bunch of swaps on A Little Scrap of Heaven, and have had a lot of fun doing those items.
Here's for the Masquerade Swap:
It's a mask and purse, both altered.
Here's for the Altered Clipboard/Pen Holder Swap:
Then...for one more swap that I am in...I purchased these from the dollar store:
I am starting to 'bling' them up, just practicing for now. The swap is not until February, so I have a bit of time to play. But here's what I came up with just by playing:
Now that I shared all of my swap stuff...here are some more items I have been making just for the fun of it and some are up on my Etsy site for purchase.
A Target $1.00 Mailbox...all blinged out for Valentines Day.
Thought some love notes, or candy would be great to give in these.
Here's a pink one I did.
Even switched out the tab on this one with a metal tag and a butterfly.
I even put up a new YouTube video on my Channel...can you believe it?
I actually got some work done this weekend!!!
It needs a lot of work, my video taping, but it's a start!
This item is one that I created based on Kathy at Paper Phenomenon's creation.
I had a lot of fun with this and it is available on my Etsy site.
It's an old time Secretary.
I remember my Grandma having a rolltop desk that is kind of a take on this back when I was young.
Can you picture putting your pictures or letters and stationery in here with envelopes and packing it up for when you are done working?
The top tray can hold your stamps and pens and such.
Well, I don't want to bombard this whole thread with all of the stuff I am up to...I figure I put up enough for now. LOL!!!
I will really try and post some more soon...working on so much more.
Thanks so much for visiting and take care of yourself.
Again, Happy New Year!
